Happy Friday!!! A couple of weeks ago, I posted this picture of my uncompleted yarn ball wreath asking for some direction.
First off, thank-you so much for all of the suggestions! I definitely agree that it was too right side heavy and never really intended on leaving it as it was. I tried adding a few more elements to the top right side but it still didn’t seem to look right {I think the balls I had were too big}. I tried a million bows. And in the end, I just ripped everything off.
Since the balls were so heavy looking, I ended up placing them on the bottom {thanks Brenda for that!} in a less random pattern and then just added a few of the nature elements. I couldn’t quite get the look of a bow that I liked so I just added some ribbon to hang it.
Well, then I couldn’t find anywhere to hang it. I made the burlap rolled flower, glued the ribbon to the back of it, added some cardboard to that, and hung it on the wall with some Command strips. I’m not a huge fan of the wreath but I do love this little flower!
I ended up moving the wreath from the mudroom to the wall above the stairs leading to our basement.

I love the wreath, great colors. But I really love the way you hung it up with the flower and the ribbon. Such a great idea.

Being a yarn lover I love the way this wreath turned out. I think I need to make one for myself. Great job. I am visiting and following via “Just Something I whipped Up Blog Party”

it looks good where it is! esp with the lettering to help it not seem so random.
