I have seen many beautiful arrangements of faux flowers hot glued on to branches like this one from Cottage Hill. I also loved these butterflies from The Given Life. So I thought I would combine the two ideas into this:
The glue gun and I are not very good friends so I try to stay away from her as much as possible. For the white flowers I just pulled them off and slid them onto my twigs. Can you see the little hole there?
If you have larger branches you will have to pull out the glue gun I suppose. For the green berries, I just cut off the branches and twisted them around my twigs.
I downloaded some butterfly templates from here, cut a few out, and traced them onto scrapbook paper (mine was from American Crafts). I outlined the butterflies in black pen to make them stand out a little better and glued them onto the twigs with Quick Grip Glue.
Have a great week!
