Two days of being totally lazy definitely re-energizes the soul! We dropped off the kids at Grandma and Grandpa’s house on Friday afternoon {thanks Mom and Dad!} and headed up to Whistler for our little weekend getaway.
On our way up we ran across this guy on the side of the road. We think he is our old buddy that we saw a month ago when we were up there with the kids.
After sleeping in until 10:00, we spent the first day sunning ourselves by the pool {thankfully I have no pictures of this!} and walking around the village. There is such a fun atmosphere around town and the walkways are filled with lots of interesting shops and fabulous restaurants.
We ended up on a patio with a couple of drinks {two drinks = $30!} and enjoyed watching all of the crazy mountain bikers speed down the mountain.
Today we had more pool time and took in all of the beautiful scenery of Whistler.
On our way home, we stopped and had dinner here.
Such a gorgeous view and the perfect end to our weekend.
Hope you all have a great week!
