We Will Never Forget

It is hard to believe that today is the 10th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. I remember driving to work when I first turned on the radio and heard the news of the first tower being hit. 

And then the sickening feeling in my stomach when the second tower was hit.

I was glued to the television for a week watching the events unfold and hoping for some miracle stories of survivors being pulled from the devestation. They just never came.

There were unbelievable stories of heroism woven into the heartbreaking stories of loss.  And there was an amazing sense of a nation uniting and the world coming together.

So today I remembered all those that were lost and the families that were affected.  I remembered all of the heroes from that tragic day and those heroes that continue to fight today.  

We will never forget.
