Last summer the kids and I made this “watermelon” from jello and chocolate chips. This is a little more my style of watermelon! The kids had lots of fun making it {and even more fun eating it!} so I wanted to come up with some other fun food projects for us this summer.
How about starting your day with some watermelon pancakes?
If you are into carving, Watermelon.org has an amazing assortment of carved watermelon projects including this beach themed basket.
I also love this watermelon shark {and my kids would love those gummy fish!} from Sun Scholars.
You can either take some watermelon and make sorbet.
Or buy some sorbet and make a “watermelon”!
And this just looks like such a yummy {and nutritious!} snack for a hot summer day!
