The boys and I sat down the other day and came up with our “Summer To Do” list. There have been lots of fun versions of this project around blogland over the past couple of weeks and I thought that it was such a fabulous idea. My mini-book holder was looking for a new book, so I knew exactly how I wanted to do with mine!
I covered some chipboard pages from an old book with scrapbook paper for the front and back covers. It measures slightly larger than 6 x 6. The paper for the entire album is from the Springtime collection by Echo Park {they also have a great Summer line that would look great!}.
Inside I have a couple of pages with the kids’ list of activities that they would like to do. I also left a little extra room to add notes. The inner pages are all 6 x 6.
Then I made some pages up to add some of my favorite pictures from these activities.
A lot of the embellishments were added with pop dots so I can still slide the pictures in underneath them.
I will probably end up adding a few extras once the pictures are added but this gives me a good start.
Now we just need the sunshine!
My boys {both big and small!} are heading out for a boys’ camping weekend tomorrow so I should have time to finish up all some of my half completed projects this weekend {and get caught up on some much needed rest!} See you soon!
I linked up with Come Together Kids, The Shabby Nest, Delightful Order, The Shabby Chic Cottage, Somewhat Simple, House of Hepworths, Lil Luna, Passionately Artistic, Blue Cricket Design, The Stories of A to Z, Tip Junkie, Today’s Creative Blog, CRAFT, Ask Anna, The Girl Creative, Craft-O-Maniac, Under the Table and Dreaming, I Heart Naptime, Be Different Act Normal, Funky Junk Interiors, Tatertots and Jello, Young and Crafty, Whipperberry, 30 Handmade Days, Tidy Mom, Little Lucy Lu, Sun Scholars, 504 Main and Craft Goodies.
Ooooh! I love this so much! I wish I would have seen it before my post on Wednesday with other fun summer ideas!

This is such a wonderful idea, I love how its a scrapbook of your summer also, those areas for notes will be fantastic for recording memories before they are forgotten.

Cute project.
Love the colors!
I love this summer list. But I think I’m slightly biased because I’m a scrapbooker. Did it take a long time to complete?

I love this idea, wish I had seen it before summer was over. I also love the mini book holder. Did you create that on your own or did you purchase it somewhere?
Hi Leah! Your emails are set to No Reply so I can’t get back to you. Hopefully you will check back here. I did make the mini book holder. The tutorial can be found at

You can always use the same idea for other seasons too. We just finished our fall album!
