One of my least favorite tasks in the morning is packing lunches. Anyone else have trouble finding nutritious things to pack your kids that they will actually eat when you are not there hounding them??
I came across this website called Laptop Lunches. They sell these really cute bento boxes. They also have some really great tips on picky eating and some healthy food ideas. The bento boxes are made from recycled material and are lead, BPA, phthalates, and PVC free. They are definitely a bit more pricey than the traditional lunch boxes but I thought they looked pretty cool.
Matthew is not a big sandwich guy and prefers a bunch of smaller items. These little compartments work perfectly and we can talk about putting items from different food groups into each of the boxes. I dream of the day when he can pack his own lunch and I no longer have to think about it!
Anyways, I thought this was a fun little way to make lunches more exciting and thought I would share. Just so you know, this is just a personal review. I haven’t been contacted by the company or given any free products (unfortunately!)
To all my Canadian friends, I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend! I will be using my long weekend to get caught up on the housework, enjoy some family time, and hopefully fit in a craft project or two. Turkey dinner on Sunday!
