Spring Home Tours
I always seem to struggle through the winter months {especially this year!}, so I’m definitely thankful when I start to see those little signs of spring start to pop up. I know some of you might still be in winter mode, but I’ve actually been pulling out our spring decor for a couple of weeks now. Today, I’m excited to be joining Krista from The Happy Housie for her spring home tours so get ready for a ton of spring inspiration! If you’re hopping over from The DIY Mommy – welcome! I’m sure you loved Christina’s pretty and colorful spring decor as much as I do.

Our Easter and Spring Dining Room
If you haven’t already guessed, today I’m going to be sharing our spring dining room with you. All of the decor ideas can easily be done in any other room in your home too so don’t worry if you don’t have a dining room!

Even though we don’t actually eat in here that often, the dining room is the first room you see when you walk through our front door and we’re always passing through it. I also store a lot of our serving plates and other kitchenware in here that we don’t use on a regular basis. They work great as decor pieces when they’re not in use!

Easter Sideboard
The first thing I always decorate in our dining room is our sideboard. The white ceramic bunnies are one of my favorite things to pull out in the spring and they pretty much took over the sideboard. I’ve collected the bunnies over many years – mostly from Home Sense. Keeping them all white makes it easy to mix and match while still maintaining a cohesive look.

I decided to leave up the white twinkle light trees that I had up with our Christmas decor. I love twinkle lights and don’t like restricting them to just Christmas! Behind the bunnies, I switched out the artwork for this framed mirror. It adds some nice light to the space and provides a pretty reflection when the twinkle lights are on.

You can’t really have bunnies without carrots, so I had to sprinkle some around for them to enjoy. I’ve picked a few different ones up over the years from Home Sense, Pier 1, and Michaels. I like having the different sizes and textures to mix up.

Easter Chalkboard
I love using chalkboards for our seasonal decor. They’re fun to decorate, inexpensive, and don’t take up any extra space once the holidays are over. I think I have one in almost every room! I’m definitely no chalkboard artist, but thankfully chalk is very forgiving – and easily erasable!

Easter Beverage Bar
Last week I shared the printables for our Easter hot chocolate bar. It’s been getting very well used and I’ve already had to replace the mini eggs a couple of times. Those darn mini-eggs are my dieting downfall. lol!

Just click HERE for your free Easter hot chocolate bar printables. Even if you don’t do a hot chocolate bar, the print still looks cute all framed!

Thank-you so much for visiting! I hope you enjoyed the tour and feel inspired to add a little spring decor to your own home. If you’re new around here, please stay in touch! You can always find me here…

Decorating with Spring Florals

Super cute, Jenn! I love your fun spring and Easter touches!! Thanks for being part of this tour series!
Hi Jenn. Your spring dining room decorating idea is just great. I was wonder after seen your twinkle light on the trees which is so charming. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much Sarah!
Adorable! Life is short, eat in your beautiful
Dinning Room more often. We have been eating all most every meal, even when it is take out pizza, in candle light. I find it slows everyone down and is more relaxing. The kids stay at the table longer and communicate better. Small delightful differences make life more enjoyable. Many blessings.
I too have found winter hard this year, and am feeling so grateful for signs of spring! Your dining space is so cheery and fun…I love all the touches of Easter!
All your bunnies and carrots are so sweet for spring. I really love your hot chocolate bar too, just adorable.
Hi! Lovely decor, so fresh and inspiring. Is there a link or more info on the gear-shaped clock you have? I love it!
All the little carrots are just too cute and I love the added pop of color! I agree with you about twinkle lights – we should start a campaign to have them considered year-round decor!
Yes! I’d totally campaign with you! lol! I just use them anyways. 😉
This is lovely – so fresh and bright! Spring is a great time to rethink your decor (as well as spring cleaning!)
Definitely! I always like things a little lighter in the spring too so it’s the perfect mentality for decluttering.
love the chalkboards and the bunnies
Thanks! I always have fun with the chalkboards!
