“Done is better than Perfect”
I have a dirty little scrapbooking secret – I literally have albums {three or four full ones!} of half finished scrapbook pages. I think of all of the hours that I put into those pages -totally wasted hours if I don’t get around to actually finishing them. You would think that this thought would motivate me to finish them but, for some reason, it seems to just stress. me. out. more than anything. So I am pledging that by Christmas time I will finish my unfinished pages!!
Here’s a few of them that I did this week:
This was our family ski trip up to Sun Peaks for Dave’s 40th birthday {almost 4 years ago!}
I love this picture of Connor’s curly hair! I actually forgot that he even had hair that was this curly. This one was three years ago on a trip down to Fort Flaggler {love the little sprinkles of sand all over his face too!}
Another one from three years ago over in Sechelt. Connor’s first visit to the beach and he sat there forever throwing rocks. {Seriously, I have no idea why I wouldn’t have finished this page! How much simpler can you get?}
And, since we are nearing fall, here’s Connor in one of my favorite little GAP Halloween onsies. Oh how I love those onsies and chubby baby legs!!
I swear that I actually take pictures of Matthew too! I just haven’t found where I put his unfinished album yet {1 more full one to add to my collection!}
Now the nice thing about finishing unfinished pages, is that they really don’t take that long since they are already started. Those ones were finished in less than 2 hours {while watching TV}. And, it actually felt pretty good to finish them. Now, if only I could finish those other 80 or so pages that I have left!
Have any unfinished projects to complete? Make a goal to complete at least one thing per week. PLEASE tell me that I am not the only one with unfinished projects!!! {and if you don’t a little white lie to make me feel better would be okay too!}

Oh! I have lots of unfinished projects too! The journalling is always the unfinished part for me! I have albums with no journaling…no joke! I keep telling myself I am going to do an half hour every night until it’s done! Great post Jenn! Angie xo

You are definitely not the only one. I actually did a whole blog post about how I keep adding to my list of projects and it has just been stressing me out and how I don’t get any of it done. I am SLOWLY going through the list and getting stuff checked off! Good luck to you with your scrapbooking. 🙂

Totally guilty of all of the above + I have a bad habit of wanting to re-do some of my earlier pages (now that I see cuter products out there!) And I have a whole stack of finished pages that I haven’t sorted and put in albums! LAME! And don’t get me started on PRINTING pictures… 🙂 But hey with all this encouragement, maybe I can get some done!

Ha! I totally intended to make a first year baby scrapbook for my boys…my firstborn is now seven years old and I have not gotten further than his 4 month old pages. Don’t even have albums yet for my other two. My youngest is now 3 1/2. I’ll be lucky if I get their baby books done by college ; )
Your pages look great!!

Where do you purchase all of your supplies (papers & embelishments)… they are always so cute! I have limited resources around my area… =(
As always they look great! And I’m in the same boat as you. My daughters 1st birthday is the 24th… and I’m at week 3 in her scrapbook… guess it won’t be sitting out for her party like I hoped.

Don’t worry, you are never going to be alone with having unfinished projects. My husband says I am the queen of unfinished projects, then I see something new and go and start on it! Good luck, my next unfinished project is my scrapbooking too!
