In the meantime, I just wanted to share my Smash book that I received last weekend. I have been wanting one of these since K & Co. released them. Our local scrapbook store kept selling out of them so I ended up ordering mine through Crafty Steels. {Just so you know, I don’t have any affiliation with any of these companies – I just love the product!}
There are so many things that you could do with these {lots of ideas are on their blog!} but I made mine into a little inspiration and idea book {think of it as Pinterest in a book!} The pens come in different colors and have the pen at one end and glue at the other. Brilliant! I divided up my book into categories with the smash tabs.
It’s been fun doodling away on the quote page – kind of reminds me of high school!
I have also been reading The Happiness Project and have decided to start my own project in September {more on that later!} One of the sections is devoted to ideas and plans for that. Has anyone else read this book? What did you think?
I also have a section to write down products, books, etc. that I find while reading magazines or hear of from friends that I want to check out. Like these Sanuk sandals that are made from yoga mats. How comfy do those sound?
So that is just the beginning of my book. I also want to add a section to hold memorabilia from activities that we do and another one for favorite memories.
Do any of you Smash? I would love to hear what you do with it! I’m still hoping to get a few more embellishments for mine and add some of my scrapbooking supplies to pretty it up!
Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a free digital scrapbook software package. The numbers are really low so you have a great chance of winning! 🙂
Happy Scrapping!

I love this. Especially the quotes. I will have to find the book, The Happiness Project. Thanks for sharing.

Do I SMASH? In theory, yes. but I don’t use the brand. I keep travel journals and have them in different ‘binders’. It may be an old journal, a small notebook, or even a book.

I have loved the SMASH products in theory since they were released, but I haven’t seen them at my local scrapbook store yet! {Sad face}. I have, in the meantime, found a journal that I am keeping as a fun book to do whatever I like in! Have a wonderful week! Angie xo

I bought most of the embellishments for Project Life and my scrapbook pages. The cutest journaling tags, paper clips, little envelopes. Perfect for how I scrapbook.
