If you are looking for some quick and easy ways to make up some cards, using a coordinating paper line {especially if it is double sided paper with a different design on each side} really helps to speed up the process. Choose at at least 3-5 colors with different patterns that you can mix and match. The papers I chose are from Pebbles. The color scheme is something that I would not normally pick out but when I saw this sheet I thought it looked pretty cute!
For each card, I used one of the sentiment squares from the sheet above, 2-3 other coordinating papers, and generally 1 or 2 other embellishments to add my own little touch. If you are looking to cut down on costs, cut out shapes from the paper that you are using for your embellishments {like the flower and flourish above} instead of purchasing them separately.
A little bit of ribbon or twine adds texture and color.
And pop dots are also a great way to add dimension to your cards without taking up any extra time.
The inside of the cards was kept quite simple. I added one of the pre-done squares to a couple of them. For the rest, I generally just added some matting or one little embellishment.
So go make a few cards and send someone a note just because!

Your cards look fabulous and I like how you used making them as a reason to experiment with colors you might not normally use. That’s a good tip, to try it out on cards first. I love to use double sided papers for cards, I think it gives it a more finished look when the inside is as pretty as the outside.
Great cards & great ideas!
