Hey folks! Happy Sunday! With all of the Christmas rush, it feels like I haven’t been around here too much. This is the time in December that I realize how fast Christmas is approaching and how much left I still have left to do! {yikes!} I always seem to think I have things under control and then the second week of December hits….
Anyways, today we went out and cut down our tree. It’s a nice big 10 footer! Of course, that means the rest of the day was spent putting it up and decorating it and we’re still trying to figure out how to get the star on top. I think we should have put it on before we put the tree up but that kind of spoils the fun. Hopefully I will get around to posting a few pictures in the next day or two {star and all!}.
Since I know what a busy time of year this is, I am extra thankful for all of you that managed to link up to The Creative Spark last week. I think it was actually the biggest link up yet! Your ideas are all amazing and leave me with a huge longing for more project time {yep, just NOT going to happen right now!} As always, I like to take a little time on Sunday to highlight a few of my favorite projects. So here it goes!
Advent calendars were definitely among the most linked up projects this week. The creativity with these has just been unbelievable this year and I’m thinking that we will have to do one for each holiday now! This one from Little Lucy Lu particularly caught my eye. I love the chicken wire and I love the colors! Cute, eh?
I totally adore these glass Christmas trees from Alderberry Hill {and that owl is adorable!}. I have a ton of those little marble things hanging around somewhere in the house. I bet they would look so pretty with some lights shining around them!
Brown Paper Packages made up these fabulous lolly ornaments for her daughter’s candy themed Christmas tree. So, so beautiful!
Amanda from The Ivy Cottage Blog gave a beautiful holiday tour of her home. I love seeing how you all decorate for the holidays!
And lastly, just in case you needed a little break from Christmas ideas, check out this chandelier turned cake stand from I Heart Naptime. How fabulous is that???
Thanks again to all of you for sharing your ideas and taking the time to visit others. If you were featured, feel free to grab a featured button from my sidebar. I hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend and manage to find a little time to relax!
