Cute McGregor’s Carrot Patch free Easter Printable based off of The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Such a fun way to add a little Easter decor to your home!
Easter Decor
If you’ve seen any of my Easter decor in the past, you know my two favorite things to decorate with for spring are my white bunny collection and my carrots for a little pop of color. I decided that I needed a cute printable to go along with these for a little vignette in the kitchen so I created this Mr. McGregor’s Carrot Patch free Easter printable.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit
The printable is based on the famous Tale of Peter Rabbit children’s book by Beatrix Potter. I loved these stories as a little kid and thought that it would be a fun way to incorporate some childhood memories into our decor. I even still have my ceramic Peter Cottontail dish and mug set from when I was little!
If you’re not familiar with the book, it tells the story of the mischievous Peter Rabbit as he gets into {and gets chased around!} the garden of Mr. McGregor. I always love the little details in printables so the est. 1901 is the year that the book was first privately published.
How to Style the Printable
This carrot patch printable can really be used in any Easter decor. I wanted to use ours in a vignette with our white rabbits and textured carrots in our kitchen corner. My carrot towel worked perfectly for the backdrop and the whole display serves as a mini hot chocolate bar.You could even display it with some real carrots in a little bowl!
The easiest way to use the printable is in a frame, but you can always make your own framed canvas art, use it for the front of an Easter card, or use it for an Easter tablescape. No frame? Add it to a clipboard or stick it to the wall with some pretty washi tape.
How to Print the Printable
If you’d like to use the printable for your own Easter or spring decor, just scroll towards the bottom of the post and click on the link for the size you would like. This printable is available in a 5×7, 8×10, or 11×14 format. You then just download it, print, and display!
How do I download the printables?
To download the printable of your choice, you just need to click on the link and then download the print to your computer. I have all of my printables in Google Drive so if you’re having troubles, try using Google Chrome for your browser. It seems to do the trick! If you’re not printing it right away, be sure to save it somewhere that you can find it again. Having a specific folder specifically for printables works great to keep things organized and you can always find it in subsequent years if you want to print it again.
What’s the best way to print out the printables?
Once you’ve downloaded the printable to your computer, you can choose to either print it at home or send it out to a local or online print shop {Stapes, Costco, London Drugs, Walgreens, etc.}. If you choose to print at home, you can use either a laser or an ink jet printer. The ink jet printers do seem to run through the ink faster than laser printers, so if you’ll be printing a lot, a laser printer may be your best option. Usually my home printer does a pretty good job at printing the colors accurately, but they were a bit off for this printable.
If you’re going to be printing something larger than an 8.5×11 {or just don’t want to use up your ink!} you will need to send it out to a printer. I like to mark to NOT adjust the colors as I’ve had some funky colors come back when I don’t do this. Make sure you’ve chosen the correct size for formatting so nothing gets cut off! {see below}

I downloaded the 11×14 size but when I uploaded it to Walgreens to print, I got a message saying it would be blurry since it was low resolution.
Is it possible to get a higher resolution jpg?
Thank you!
Jenn Lifford says
As long as you have the 11×14 version it should print fine as it is formatted for that size. It’s definitely at a high resolution. I’ve printed it out myself at a printer and haven’t had an issue. I wonder if it’s looking at the carrots and thinking that they are blurry? (they’re watercolor so have that slightly blurred watercolor look).
