Everyone’s favorite mini-eggs packed into a tasty dessert bar! These mini egg dessert bars are sure to be an Easter hit and can even be packaged up with the free Easter printables for a cute hostess gift!
Mini-Egg Dessert Bars
Mini-eggs are my all-time favorite chocolate treat and I must say that I was pretty excited when they started making them all year long rather than just at Easter time. I still think of them as more of an Easter treat, however, and I knew that they would be perfect for some Easter dessert bars. These mini-egg blondie bars are fun to make with the kids and make a tasty addition to the Easter dessert table.
TIP: I would recommend buying the mini-eggs right before you actually intend on making the bars so you don’t have to go back to the store to buy another bag. I may or may not know this from personal experience. 😉

Bunny Bars in Jar Instructions
Since the dessert bars were so yummy, I thought that they would make a perfect little Easter gift idea. You could always make the bars yourself and package them up, but I thought that this Bunny Bar in a Jar idea was a pretty cute idea too…
All you need to do is download the free printables and have fun dressing up your mason jar! The one above is just topped with a cupcake liner and some baker’s twine, and I just added some washi tape to the rim on the one below.
To fill the jar, layer the ingredients in a 1 quart mason jar as follows:
- flour, baking powder, salt {sifted together}
- sugar
- mini-eggs
- chocolate chips and nuts
For the printables, there is a Bunny Bars label for the front {or top} of your Mason jar and an instruction label {with the recipe} for the back. I just printed them both out {in a A5 format so I could punch them with a 3 inch punch} and glued them together. To fit the label for the top of the jar, I printed it out as a 5×7.

I hope you enjoy them as much as we do! Always feel free to add more mini eggs! 🙂
