Lemonade Float Bar
I obviously have lemonade on the brain lately. Last week I posted about how to create a flavored lemonade bar, and this week I’m doing a little bit of a different take with a lemonade float bar.
These lemonade floats combine the delicious tart taste of homemade lemonade with the classic summer sweetness of vanilla ice cream. You can’t really go wrong with lemonade and ice cream right?
For my lemonade float bar, I made some regular lemonade as well as some strawberry lemonade. They’re both delicious – it’s just a matter of your preference. I like adding some fresh fruit to the drink too {especially strawberries and raspberries} and just scoop them up at the end. The great thing with putting out a beverage bar is that everyone can customize their own!
If you want to add a little extra decor to your lemonade bar, I also have some cute lemonade bar printables that you can use.
These lemonade floats make the perfect drink for those lazy summer days. Now I just have to wait for the sunny weather to come back. The rain started to come down just as I finished taking photos!

Alternative Lemonade Float Ideas
Use Pre-Made Lemonade
If you don’t have time to make your own lemonade, you can always just use store bought lemonade or lemonade mixes. Store bought lemonade can sometimes be quite sweet, so you may want to water it down a bit. If you’re making lemonade from the mix, you can also try using just a little less of the mix so it’s not as sweet. To give the pre-made drinks a little bit of a more authentic flavor, try squeezing the juice of 1 or 2 lemons into it.
Try Pink Lemonade
Using pink lemonade adds a pretty pink touch to your drink and often has a slightly fruitier flavor. Depending on the brand, it may be flavored with cranberry juice, raspberry juice or crushed strawberries.
Add some other fruit flavored syrups.
You can make a simple fruit syrup to add to your lemonade with a variety of different fruits or berries. You can get the simple fruit syrup recipe HERE. Raspberry, blueberry, and strawberry syrups all work great added to lemonade.
Use different ice cream flavors or sherbert.
I’ve tried strawberry marble ice cream and raspberry sherbert and they both tasted great. Have some fun switching things up and trying new flavors!
I hope you give these a try and enjoy them as much as we do!
