Okay guys! The Household Organization Diet is back!!!
I can hardly believe it, but there is only one more day left until 2014 is here! As much as I hate to say good-bye to the holidays, the new year always brings so much promise and renewed inspiration with it. If one of your goals for 2014 is to get your home cleaned and organized, this is the plan for you!
{If you are new to The Household Organization Diet, you may want to start with this post HERE.}
Many of you joined me last year as I worked my way through our home, organizing and cleaning one room per month. Like all new plans, there were definitely some tweaks that needed to be made along the way, but, overall, I was quite happy with what I accomplished throughout the year. I have made a few changes for this year’s diet and have lots of new ideas to share with you. I’m not going to tell you the whole plan now, but here is a sneak peek…
We are starting off with a 30 day detox.
This year I thought that we would start off The Household Organization Diet with a 30 day purge. Think of it as a detox jump start for your home. For me, January is always a busy month, taking down the Christmas decorations, finding spots for all of the new Christmas presents, and getting rid of all of those items that we no longer need or use. I will have more details about this up on the blog tomorrow and will also have a couple of other small projects for you to do throughout the month as well.
I’m Joining the Hashtag Bandwagon
In an effort to keep everyone more involved and motivated, I thought that it might be fun to create a hashtag to go along with the plan this year. If you are posting anything related to The Household Organiztion Diet on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook, simply add the hashtag #OrganizationDiet to your post. Then all we will need to do is search the hashtag for instant organization inspiration! As much as I love Facebook, the changes that they have made have made it very difficult for me to stay connected with you guys there. I am trying my best to branch out to some other forms of social media this year as well so hopefully you can join me there!

Getting organized is so much easier when there is a plan in place and ongoing inspiration and support. I hope that we can all work together to make this the most organized year yet!
So who is ready to get organized for 2014???
