Hi everyone! I am still in Vegas so Ginger from Ginger Snap Crafts has offered to help me out and share a fun back to school project with you. I know you guys will love her blog so pop on over and say hello!
I’m a wife to one awesome guy and mom to 5 wild and crazy kiddos.
I love to create things, blog, garden, decorate
and most of all be with my family.
I’ve been blogging for almost 4 years and I love keeping a journal of my family,

Today I’d like to share with you this cute and easy back to school teacher gift!
This pencil holder is personalized with
our school colors, name and mascot!
Best of all it was super easy,
and didn’t cost me a thing.
{Just used what we already had around the house!}
Love how it turned out,
and hoping my kid’s {fabulous} teachers like it, too! 🙂
Here’s how I made it:
1. Cut a two x four into 7 inch blocks.
2. Had the hubby drill some pencil sized holes along the top!
{Try to make sure they are all the same depth, so your pencils will be even.}
3. Painted the blocks black.
{I love this brand of paint! It’s the best!}
4. Applied my vinyl lettering.
Then the overlay.
5. Tied a bow around the top.
6. Stuck in my pencils.
{How easy is that?}
All done!
Would love to have you drop by
Each week I have a

See? Such a cute idea for back to school! These would also be fun to personalize for your kids’ desks. Hope you all have a great week and I hope to see you out for The Creative Spark tomorrow night!
Thanks again Ginger!
