I might sound kind of weird, but I love trying out new cleaning products! I figure that if I have to clean, I might as well enjoy the products that I use. Obviously my top priority is for the product to work well, but I also look for more natural, eco-friendly, and cruelty-free products. And I always go for a scent that I love!
I’ve also tried quite a few DIY cleaning products {like this all natural laundry scent booster or these DIY garbage disposal bombs}, and mix up our store-bought items with a few homemade products. There are so many awesome natural cleaning products on the market now though, that I often just find it easier to buy products than to come up with a good DIY version.
So today I’m going to share a couple of cleaning favorites with you – these easy free printable cleaning labels and an awesome free Mrs. Meyer’s cleaning offer from Grove Collaborative. I’ve been purchasing most of our cleaning products {and a lot of our beauty products} through Grove for more than a year now and have found so many new items that I love. You can find more information about Grove and the free gift offer towards the end of the post – don’t miss out!
Free Printable Cleaning Labels {DIY}
First, I wanted to show you these cute printable cleaning labels. I love using glass spray bottles for our cleaning products {I wrote more about this down a little further}, but needed to create some labels so everything was well marked. Since I like everything matching and pretty, so I decided to make some of my own.
I created a couple of different printable cleaning labels for you to choose from. The labels will print out three to a page {it was just a little too squishy to put 6 on a page!} and I’ve also provided some blank ones if you have different products that you would like to label.

How to use the printable cleaning labels.
Supplies
- cleaning labels of your choice {download above}
- printable shipping labels or other printable adhesive paper {make sure you get the full sheet}. You can find these at any office supply store.
- clear Con-Tact liner. This is also available at Walmart, Target, etc.
- paper cutter or scissors
- spray bottles or other storage bottles
How to make the cleaning labels
- download and print out the labels and cut them out using a paper cutter or scissors
- cut out some Contact paper so it’s slightly bigger than the labels. You just want to make sure that it completely covers all of the edges of the label.
- peel the backing off of the shipping label and adhere to your spray bottle {NOTE: Make sure that the spray bottle surface is clean!}
- peel the backing off of the Contact paper and apply it over the shipping label.
- repeat with as many bottles as you would like! 🙂
Why I like to use spray bottles for our cleaning solutions
Over the last year or so, I’ve switched out most of our cleaning bottles to glass spray bottles or jars. Here are a few reasons why I love my spray bottles…
The bottles are all the same shape and size.
I find that storing bottles of the same size and shape is easier {and prettier!} to organize than a variety of different bottles. Buying the spray bottles is a little bit of an investment at first, but it’s worth it to me in the long run. Remember that you don’t have to buy the bottles all at once – just get one or two each month until you see what you really need. Buying just a couple at a time also lets you test out the durability of the bottle. I find that the spray spouts of the cheaper bottles often break easily so look for a nice, solid sprayer. I’ve really liked the quality of these glass spray bottles that I purchased from Grove.
They allow me to easily divide up my cleaning solutions.
I like to store my cleaning solutions close to where I use them for easy accessibility and cleaning. We have 3 levels in our home and 4 bathrooms, so I have cleaners in each bathroom as well as a couple of other places in our home that are in need of frequent cleaning. Having spray bottles allows me to just buy 1 large bottle of a common cleaning product and divide it among all of the bottles.
I prefer the look of spray bottles.
I will often leave some cleaning products out in the open for quick and easy cleaning and a pretty glass spray bottle just seems to blend in a lot more with our decor. Although I still keep a few of the prettier products in their original containers {I love Mrs. Meyers for this!}, I really like the versatility and the simple, clean look that the spray bottles have to offer.
You can use concentrated cleaning products.
You can now find many cleaning products in a concentrated formula. This helps cut down on packaging, product cost, and the amount of storage space needed. All you need to do is add the concentrate to a spray bottle and dilute it with the specified amount of water. This all-purpose cleaning concentrate from Grove is one of my favorites and smells amazing! I love how little packaging it uses!

I never have any trouble filling my cart. lol! Hope you enjoy the labels and Happy Mother’s Day to you too! Four bathrooms is definitely a bit crazy but the boys do have to clean their own so that at least takes one off my list! 🙂

Thanks for sharing. Love the sink tray in the picture right below where you talk about grove collaborative. I am looking for something just like that. Would you mind sharing where you found it?
Jenn Lifford says
It’s from Target! Look for it in the bath section. 🙂

The labels are adorable, thanks! Please be aware that Mrs. Meyers formulas do include synthetic fragrances and are not truly 100% natural nor plant-based. I was surprised to find out so trying to raise awareness.
Jenn Lifford says
Yes, many of the “natural” products out there still have some synthetic fragrances. I still love Mrs. Meyers though. 🙂

Thanks for these beautiful labels! This is my second go-around printing my own labels for homemade cleaners. I made my first ones a couple years ago, in the way you describe, but water seeped under the adhesive and made the ink run. This time, I’m going to try laminating them before sticking them to the bottle. Also I prefer to make my own all-purpose cleaner for just a few cents, using water, dish soap, and rubbing alcohol. I keep one bottle of it in the kitchen, and one for bathroom and other household use. The best glass cleaner I’ve found is equal parts water, vinegar, and alcohol.
Jenn Lifford says
I haven’t had any problems with water seeping in but the lamination should definitely take care of that! Good ideas for the cleaners!

I love your labels, but also I have a question, where I can find the wooden stand where you have the hand soaps? I know so random question but it’s completely adorable 😍 thank you
Jenn Lifford says
I got it at a local farmer’s market, but I’ve seen similar ones at Hobby Lobby. Sorry, that’s not too helpful!

Jenn,
You’re definitely not the only one who loves to try cleaning products.
Your labels are super cute!

Thanks Alicia!

Thank you for these beautiful labels. Would you mind sharing the fonts you used so that any additional labels we make will match yours? I know, it’s a bit OCD, but I think a consistent style makes everything look neater.
Best wishes,
Donna
Jenn Lifford says
I totally agree with you about keeping a consistent style! Unfortunately, I was just playing around with fonts I liked when I created these and didn’t write down what I used. Sorry! They were from the free fonts in PicMonkey though so that narrows it down a bit. I’ll remember to note the fonts next time.

I hope you enjoy!
Autumn Raine Kaupp says
I love these labels super cute did you happen to make them for any other products?
Jenn Lifford says
Not for these ones, but I’m just in the process of making some new ones. If you have anything specific that you want them for, let me know!
Autumn says
Awesome! And yes I was thinking for laundry products and maybe even for basic panty items. Thank you.
