Join in this fun fall home tour blog hop! I’m featuring our farmhouse style fall dining room using muted blues and pops of golden yellow.
Hello! Today I’m participating in a week-long fall home tour hosted by Marty from A Stroll Through Life. Six home tours will go live Monday to Friday so there will be a ton of fall decor inspiration for you. Just follow the link at the end of each post for the next home in the line-up. I hope you have fun discovering some new bloggers and design styles!
For those of you coming from Cuckoo 4 Design, welcome! I’m so glad you could drop by! I love Julia’s contempory chic boho style and am always amazed at what she can design on a budget. If you haven’t seen her fall home tour yet, you can check it out here.
Farmhouse Style Fall Dining Room
Today I’m going to be sharing our fall dining room with you. I wasn’t quite ready to put away all of the blues from our summer decorating, so I decided to go with a more muted blue color scheme. I couldn’t completely go away from those beautiful fall colors though and added a few pops of golden wheat and fall leaves. Out of all of the rooms I’ve decorated for fall over the years, I think this is my favorite fall decor yet. I might need to leave it up all year. 🙂
Fall Centerpiece
I ended up keeping the same blue table runner that I used in the summer and just changed up a few of the items in the centerpiece. The first layer was a corn husk garland and I then added a couple of blue lighted pumpkins, some ceramic squirrels, and a copper candle holder to tie in with our apple cider bar.
I saw this cute little squirrel at Pier 1 and had to pick a couple of them up. Luckily there’s an acorn tree right outside of my son’s school so I could gather them some food. 🙂
Fall Dining Room Sidebar
I always love dressing up our sidebar for the seasons and our blue canvas worked perfectly with my fall color scheme.
These adorable velvet pumpkins were screaming my name from the dollar bin at Target so I scooped a bunch of them up. I actually wish that I had bought a few more, but I was flying from L.A. and my bags were already stuffed. {And I also adopted a dog while I was there, but that’s a whole other story!}
These dishes from Pier 1 were another find that just screamed my name. They were pretty much the exact colors that I wanted so I had to scoop them up.
Fall Chalkboard
I love my chalkboards and kept this design simple with just a few of my favorite fall loves. You can also check out this post for more beautiful fall chalkboards inspiration.
I found a couple of coordinating fall towels {from Home Sense} to place on my linen ladder and added a few fall touches to our hutch to finish things off.
Free Fall Printables
And, lastly, I designed this cute watercolor fall printable with a few little pops of blue. I think he makes the perfect addition to our fall dining room!
As a thank-you for taking the time to visit with me today, I’m offering these free fall printables for your personal use. They go well with my blue color scheme but also work well with more traditional fall reds and oranges as well.
