Spring Home Tour
Welcome back to part 2 of our spring home tour! Last week I shared some simple spring kitchen decor ideas with you and today I’m moving on to the dining room. You can also find 5 more spring dining room home tours {and lots more spring inspiration!} at the end of the post, so be sure to check them all out.
Spring Dining Room Decor Ideas
Winter is always a bit of a struggle for me, so I’m always happy to pull out my spring decor. Even if it’s not quite looking like spring outside, I can still bring some of that spring cheerfulness indoors!
Spring Sideboard
I usually use the top of our side board for a seasonal vignette and really enjoy switching things around each year. While I don’t usually go with a specific theme for our room decor, this spring dining room was definitely inspired by the McGregor’s Carrot patch sign. Carrots, white bunnies, and greenery can be found throughout!
If you saw my carrot and wood bead Easter garland from yesterday’s post and are wondering where it went, I relocated it over to the buffet. I just thought I would disperse all of the carrots a little more evenly around the room. lol! I did use some of the extra felted balls on the sideboard though as I thought they looked like little moss balls.
The other carrots are from Pier 1 that I bought about 5 or 6 years ago and I added some chocolate Lindt carrots as well. The faux chocolate bunnies were just from the dollar store but they really look real and can be opened for some extra Easter treat storage too!
Spring Centerpiece
Since our dining table is one of the first things that you see when you walk in our front door, I always like to do a nice seasonal centerpiece.
Sticking with the same basic elements as our sideboard, I used some white vases with faux greenery and some cute ceramic bunnies to create this really simple spring centerpiece. Again, I used some of the left over felt balls from the carrot and wood bead garland and a couple of small carrots for a little extra pop of color. Placing everything onto the wood tray ties all of the elements together and makes it easy to remove if needed.
Spring Beverage Bar
If you’ve seen our dining room home tours before, you know I love a good beverage bar! Sticking with the carrot theme, this orange and carrot juice {with a little bit of cranberry juice!} is perfect for spring!
I’m still trying to figure out where the other two glasses went but I’m sure they’ll turn up! I added a cute carrot towel, a few branches of greenery, and {of course!} a couple of carrots to the mug ladder.
I loaded up the little table with some mini-eggs and a few more little bunnies.
Spring Buffet and Hutch
I always find it hard to get a good picture of the buffet and hutch with the lighting in the room. Plus the contrast of the black buffet and hutch against the white decor, makes it even harder. It does look prettier in real life!
I hope these spring dining room decor ideas bring a little smile to your face. Happy Spring!
