Check out these easy fall kitchen decorating ideas. It doesn’t take much to add some fall coziness to your home!
Can someone please tell me where the summer went??? The kids went back to school yesterday and it looks like our hot weather is coming to an end. That autumn feel is definitely in the air. As much as I hate to let summer go, the time has come to move on to some fall posts!

Today I’m joining my blogging friends again for our monthly 10 Minute Decorating Series. This month we’re working on simple kitchen decorating ideas. Since I’m just starting to get things out for fall, I thought I’d share some quick and easy fall kitchen decorating ideas.
5 Simple Ways to Add Fall to your Kitchen Decor
I think that fall is actually my favorite season to decorate for. It’s so quick and easy to add a little fall color and I always get so much inspiration in the fall. I love Christmas decorating too, but fall always seems much simpler and just comes together easier. Here are a few easy fall kitchen decorating ideas to add that fall touch to your home…
Create a seasonal “fruit basket”.
Think outside of the box and find something fun and seasonal that you can use for kitchen storage. This wheelbarrow planter works perfectly for a fruit basket and stores a couple of extra kitchen towels as well. Add a few twigs of berries and you have a quick and easy fall display.
Add a fall printable.
You can find so many gorgeous fall printables on Pinterest. Many of them are free and just need to be downloaded and printed out. Minted, Society 6, and Etsy also have beautiful designs – especially if you’re looking for something more specific. Check out these 23 free fall printables {including the one below!} to help get you started. You can also find the apple picking printable that’s shown above.
NOTE: Just store all of your seasonal printables within the photo frame and switch them around as needed. It’s one of the best ways to add some seasonal love without taking up any extra storage space!
Make a simple fall centerpiece.
If you remember my spring terrarium this might look familiar. I just replaced the blooms with some berry twigs and added a couple of velvet pumpkins {from the dollar bin at Target!} and some faux fall leaves. Super quick and easy!
Display some fall linens.
Just a couple of fall linens can add a nice pop of seasonal color to your kitchen. It’s a bonus that they’re functional too! I usually get my kitchen towels from Home Sense {Home Goods in the States} – there are lots of choices, they’re good quality, and relatively inexpensive.
Find a cute table runner.
I always change up my table runners each season and will switch them back and forth between our kitchen table and dining room. If you don’t like table runners, you could look for placemats or a table cloth – whatever you use. I’m always on the lookout for inexpensive runners and found this farmtruck one at Marshalls for ten dollars.
