Now that April is here, I am finally starting to get excited about Easter. The weather has been VERY rainy around here so it just doesn’t feel like Spring yet! I am hoping that all of this Easter planning will bring a little nicer weather our way.
The boys and I have been busy planning an Easter pancake breakfast for some of our family friends. Matthew loves checking out sites with me and picking his favorites!
The whole Easter pancake breakfast idea came from these adorable bunny pancakes from Muffin Tin Mom. I will be doing a trial run this weekend to see how easy they actually are!
So here are a few other favorite ideas that we have come across. Even if you’re not planning a party, they can still be lots of fun to do on your own!
Martha Stewart has these free printable Easter Egg Hunt invites to help get the party word out!
I’m not planning on doing anything elaborate up for the table, but I do want to add a few nice little touches to make it extra special for the kids. How cute is this carrot cutlery from The Seven Year Cottage?
And you can’t get much easier than these Peeps on a straw from The Autocrat.
There is never a shortage of treats around Easter time! These mini Easter baskets were so adorable from It’s Always a Party at the Parkers.
There are also super sweet printables available from her Etsy store, Shindig Parties To Go.
I loved these baby bird nest cupcakes. I’m always terrible at icing so they would be a good option for me!
{from The Celebration Shop}
If you are looking for some healthier options, these daffodils would be great for a little fruit cup.
I love this version of the treat cones on a stick and dry cereal is a good alternative to candy for the breakfast parties. How cute are those bunnies?
{from The Party Dress}
Anders Ruff has these sweet free printables for Hershey’s kisses.
They also have a beautiful Easter design collection on their etsy site.
Decorating Easter eggs is always fun but I thought that it would be a little too stressful with a big bunch of kids. These balloon eggs looked much easier!
{from Paper, Plate, and Plane}
Or these super cute egg carton chicks

Here’s a super cheap option for some Easter baskets – just decorate up some paper bags! All you would need to do is add a cute tag or some ribbon or I’m sure the kids would have fun decorating their own! This one just had a couple of baby food jars added to it to create a flower centerpiece.

Hopefully that provides you with some Easter Inspiration! The boys and I will be doing our Easter eggs tomorrow. There is even a glimmer of hope that the sun will be out for a while tomorrow! {although rain is forecasted for the rest of the week}
Have a great weekend!
