These Easter bunny treats are lots of fun to put together and make a super cute Easter treat! Use them for little gifts or to add to your Easter table.
Easter Bunny Treats Tutorial
I like to try to do at least one project with the kids each holiday and these Easter bunny treats were a fun little craft to do together. They’re kind of a mix between my turkey treats and my Easter bunny suckers. They go together pretty easily and would make a fun Easter treat or cute addition to your Easter table.
Materials
- 9 inch round scalloped tulle {I picked this up at the dollar store in the wedding section. You could always cut your own as well}
- clear small elastic band
- 2 inch Styrofoam ball
- white and pink pipe cleaners
- google eyes
- white and pink mini pom poms
- glue {I used Quick Grip}
- Easter colored M&Ms
Instructions
- Place a large handful of M&M’s in the middle of the tulle. {TIP: Place the tulle in a small bowl before adding the M&Ms to keep them all together and centered in the tulle. See video below.} Gather all ends and secure with a clear elastic bands. “Fluff” the tail.
- Glue the google eyes and pom poms on as shown above.
- Cut a white pipe cleaner in half and form into an ear. Stick it into the Styrofoam ball and repeat on the other side.
- Cut a piece of pink pipe cleaner and fold in half. Stick it into the Styrofoam ball so that it is in the middle of the ear.
- Cut a piece of white pipe cleaner approximately 2-3 inches long. Stick into the bottom of the head and then stick the other end into your tulle ball.
Aren’t they cute? I think they almost look even cuter from the back. I just love those fluffy little bunny butts!

Too, too cute and adorable. What a cute project to make with your kids also. I love Easter crafts so much, so cheerful and renewing. All colors of Easter seem to be happy after the long winter.
Our winter was colder than usual and we’re having a cold spell again, high of about 39 today with a cold wind. Brrrrrrr. Who knows what next week will bring. Never boring for weather around here (western CO). Hope your Easter will be warm and sunny. Happy Easter.

how did you get heads to stay upright
There is a pipe cleaner in the bottom of the head that extends down into the candies and will keep the head upright. 🙂
How do you make the cute carrots?
They are from Pier One. 🙂
I love this. Must do this for my girl’s school friends this year.
Love the bunny made with a netting & M&M body. Thinking about buying small mesh netting in various colors so the kids will know which one belongs to them. Don’t want any bunny squabbles. By kids I mean ADULT kids – we like having some Easter fun also! Could also use jelly beans in the netting as an alternative. Thanks for the post & cute photos.

SOOOO CUTE!!!!! WILL HAVE TO TRY. WAS A CLEAR CARROT SHAPE BAG W/ M&M TIED AT TO W/ MESH RIBBON
This is one of the cutest bunnies I’ve seen on Easter posts. I’ve pinned it to my Easter Board on Pinterest.
Stopping by from Turn-it-Up Tuesdays.
Thank-you! Hope you have a happy Easter!
I love the tulle bunny. I am in the process of making them and was wondering how you prevented the tulle from getting a big whole when sticking in the pipe to hold the head?
Thank you!
I just stuck it in and didn’t have any problems. If you are getting some tearing, you could try “pre-drilling” a hole with a nail or other sharper object. Happy Easter!
Awww….that’s too cute! Love the little bunch in the back for the tail.
Thanks! That’s my favorite part too! 🙂
This is so cute. I can’t wait to try it out next Easter. Thanks for linking up at the #HomeMattersParty Linky.

They were pretty small – about 1 cm in diameter. 🙂
So cute!! Do you have instructions on how to make the carrots you used in your pictures?
Thanks Denese! I actually bought the carrots from Pier 1. 🙂
This is adorable! I might have to spend my friday afternoon making a few of these. 🙂
