Come on in! It’s time for our cozy fall home tour!
Today I’m joining Christina from The DIY Mommy for her Canadian Home Blogger’s Fall Tour. We’ll be touring from coast to coast all week long so I hope you’ll join us! If you’re new here – welcome and enjoy your visit! 🙂
Last week I showed you our fall front porch {you can find it HERE if you missed it!} so I thought that I would start off the tour there.
While we usually come in through our garage entrance, we do have a small front entryway when you first come into our home off the porch. I try to have a nice mix of functional storage and welcoming decor, and love to dress this area up for the seasons too.
We added some wall planking to our front entry in the spring {you can find the DIY here} and I still love how it brightens up the entryway. The bench is great for storage and I change out the pillow with each season.
My youngest plays hockey and I always forgot to bring a blanket with me when I watched him play last year {those arenas get COLD!}, so this year I’m prepared!
It just takes a few little touches to make the space feel like fall!
Heading down the hallway, you come to our family room…
While I’m usually drawn more to neutrals, I’ve added a lot of beautiful fall color to our home this year. Yellow, red, orange – pretty much everything goes!
I picked up some new pumpkin throw pillows from Pier One and a few real pumpkins from a local pumpkin patch to mix in with our faux pumpkins. The rest of the decor is from years’ past, but it’s always fun to switch things up each fall.
I like to make sure that I have lots of throw blankets to cuddle up with on the couch because I am ALWAYS cold!
We have a really long mantel so I try to keep things pretty simple.
I made the Harvest sign a few years ago from some driftwood and wood letters from the dollar store.
I just added some baby boo pumpkins, some faux leaves {with some real pressed leaves thrown in there too!}, and a wood garland to complete the rest of the fall mantel.
If you do a 180 from looking at our fireplace, you end up looking in at our kitchen.
I love having a white kitchen because it provides a nice neutral backdrop for all of the accessories to pop.
My favorite thing is this old red pick-up truck that I filled with some baby boos, fresh leaves, and berries.
I stuck with the red, yellow, and orange colors in the kitchen as well, and these owl tea towels pulled it all together.
Sticking with the owl theme, I also found this cute owl jar at Superstore. He was the perfect fit!
On the other side of the kitchen, I have a fun little apple vignette with one of the free apple picking printables that I shared a couple of weeks ago.
And, of course, my favorite thing to change up each season is my kitchen chalkboard.
It didn’t take me too long to figure out what I wanted to write on it!
I hope you enjoyed your little tour of our fall home. I still have the dining room to share with you, so pop back next week!
For more fall decor inspiration, be sure to follow along with the home tour this week. I’m sure you’ll love them all!

What a beautiful home! I especially love your side tables! Where are those from?!
Thanks Christine! The tables are from Decor Steals. I’m a little addicted. 😉
Hi Jenn, this is the first time I’m popping into your adorable blog, I have NO idea why it’s taken me so long to find it, so awesome! I’m thrilled to be joining in with you and the other fab Canadian bloggers on this tour, so fun! I love all of your fall touches, so cozy and inviting, my faves though… that cozy pillow, I am a sucker for buttons! AND that beautiful window with that gorgeous light spilling on those sweet little plants, I can almost smell pumpkin pie cooking! 🙂
Thanks so much Laurie! Glad we were able to connect – it’s always fun meeting new Canadian bloggers! Now if I just had some of that pumpkin pie you could smell! 😉
that red truck is just so amazing! and so versatile – perfect for the holidays too! the displays you have over the kitchen cupboards really caught my eye! I’ve been trying to figure out what to do to our unused blank space over the cupboards and this was great inspiration:)
Fall has definitely arrived in your house! I love all the berry colours!
Thanks Ariel! Fall colors are so pretty!
Looks great, Jenn!
Thanks Mom! 🙂
Jenn, your home looks so warm and inviting for fall. I love your black and white artwork, and that planking you added to the entryway is stunning!
This is just the coziest, most welcoming Fall home! I love all of the little touches, and especially how you’ve decorated your kitchen! Thanks so much for being a part of this tour.
Always love your home tours Jenn! You add colour into a room so flawlessly! So honoured to be a part of these home tours with you!
Thanks Lindi! Loved your home too!
I love your space! I think my favourite is the bench in the entry. That pillow is awesome.
So cozy! I just want to curl up on your couch with a cup of hot chocolate! Such a lovely tour!
Beautiful Jenn! Your pillow sums it up “cozy” and inviting.
As a Canadian blogger, I always look forward to these seasonal home tours! Your home is lovely! I especially like the ladder, the pumpkin pillow and the galvanized side table styling. I’ve had my share of cold arenas too lol. Thanks for sharing your home tour!
Your home looks so cozy and wonderful Jenn! I love that you embrace fall in your home as much as I do!
Jenn – your space is gorgeous! I love that red truck – such a sweet little nod to Fall in the kitchen. Everything looks so homey and cozy. What a perfect space!
Beautiful tour, Jenn!! I love all your colourful fall accents – such a cozy, lovely home! My youngest just started the hockey league this year and I know what you mean about the blanket – I’ve forgotten to dress properly a couple times. Eek!! It’s so cold:)
You have a beautiful home and all of the fall touches are lovely. The little truck on the kitchen counter really caught my eye, though!
Thanks! That’s probably my favorite too!
Your home is lovely and decorated beautifully. I feel in love with your large white mum plant!
Your home is beautifully decorated for fall. There’s so much inspiration! Pinning. Thanks for sharing at Snickerdoodle.
Your home is beautiful! We are in the middle of remodeling our home and I love looking through home tours for inspiration. Thanks for sharing your home.
Thanks Jessica! Hope your remodel goes well!
Love the red truck. Where did you get it?
I got it a couple of years ago at Home Sense {Home Goods in the States}. It was out at Christmas time and had a big metal tree in it that I removed. I did see a couple of them last year as well so maybe they will be back this season. 🙂
Beautiful tour. Thank you for linking up with us at #HomeMattersParty. See you again next week.
Fall is my favourite time of year & this makes me happy. Your home is beautiful. Happy fall. & Thanks for joining us at the Inspiration Spotlight party. Shared
Thank-you so much! Happy Fall!
is your kitchen ceiling painted white or is it a light shade of gray?
It’s just white. Must be the light. 🙂
I really love the red truck where did you get it? I would love to get one.
I got it from Home Sense (Home Goods in the States) a few years ago with their Christmas stuff. I did see it back again last year though so maybe it will be around again!
I love the pumpkin pillow (with the blue pumpkin) and kitchen throw rug that matches. Where did you find those?
They’re from Pier 1. 🙂
Love everything! So autumnal and cozy. Can you tell me what the cart is that you have the snuggle basket under and where you found it?
It’s a metal side table that I got from Decor Steals {they’re sold as a pair}. It’s a daily deal site but they’re still on there every now and then. I actually have two sets and use them everywhere in the house and have used them on our back patio too. You could also check their sister site for them – Antique Farmhouse – although I don’t think they’re a little more expensive when they’re on there.
Finding this a year after it’s posted, but I was able to locate those tables on Antique Farmhouse for $98. Looking at your earlier comment, may I ask what the disparity is between this website and Decor Steals? Trying to decide if it’s worth the wait to keep checking Decor Steals if the price is that much better? Thank you in advance!
Antique Farmhouse and Decor Steals are actually owned by the same parent company. I think the price is slightly lower when it goes on Decor Steals but I don’t think it’s a big difference. I’d grab them while you can! I actually have two sets of them and move them around all over the house. 🙂
Where did you get the snuggle basket? So Cute!!
I think I got it from Homesense? {HomeGoods in the States}. It’s just a basket with a little chalkboard attached that I wrote on, so you could always make your own too. 🙂
