Well, it’s kind of ironic that I am getting my Christmas organization post up late, but with birthday parties and sickness around here, things have been a little bit delayed. Don’t worry though – there is still time to get organized for the holidays!
I created this Christmas planner a couple of years ago and found that it was really helpful. I probably didn’t really need to make a new one, but I wanted to change things up a bit and I never really stick with anything for too long anyways. For this year’s version, I used a small binder from the Martha Stewart collection at Staples and then decorated the cover to make it look a little more festive.
I made the felt flower similar to the one I did for my regular planner {you can find instructions here} and just added a jingle bell for the center. I then added a bit of washi tape along the front of the binder and a Christmas sticker {from Authentique Paper} to the binding.
In the front of the planner, I put a December calendar that I downloaded from HERE. I folded it over so I could see the month at a glance rather than cutting it into two pages.
I printed all of the pages out and then trimmed them down to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches to fit in my binder. Make sure to leave a wider margin on the left hand side for the hole punches {and unclick “fit to page” when you are printing}.

I also have a zippered pocket in the back {also from Martha Stewart} to hold all of the receipts from Christmas presents in case any returns are needed! I hope this helps you get organized so you can relax and enjoy the season!

What a great idea! It never crossed my mind that I could make use of such a planner. It would make the whole craziness around the holidays much more bearable. This is really genious. Thank you for good idea!
Wow Jenn, you are so organized! I would love to be one day too… Love the colours of your tracker – and the adorable embellishments!
What a great idea! I keep forgetting who I have already bought presents for. Thanks for sharing. I found you at the I’m Loving It Link party.
I love your binder. I have that small binder too, and was thinking of using it for this same thing. I have a section in my home management binder for events and holidays, but I am finding I might need something separate for this type of thing! 🙂 Cute printables, by the way!
A Christmas planner is such a great idea. That would really make the insanity of Christmas a bit easier. I got married this year and so now I have a whole new family to plan for and could use the help. Your templates are adorable!
Do you make and sell theses? And how much?
The printables are free {links are in the post} and the planner was purchased at Staples. I just made the felt flower on the cover which is super easy and quick to make {click on the link in the post for instructions} I’m not actually selling them all put together though. 🙂
Thank you for sharing. I have been looking for some time for something like this. Thank you so much for sharing it is a great idea.
