Plan a fun Christmas movie night with this cute Christmas movie night cart. Fill it with Christmas goodies and drinks for an extra special Christmas treat.
One our favorite things to do at Christmas as a family is to sit in front of the Christmas tree and watch Christmas movies. And, of course, you can’t watch Christmas movies without Christmas treats, right? The two just go together!
Christmas Movie Night Cart
I’ve been working on some home organization ideas using this awesome white rolling cart, but got a little side tracked and ended up using it with our Christmas decor. It just made the perfect Christmas movie night cart to haul all of our Christmas goodies! lol! It would also be great for Christmas parties or other gatherings if you needed some extra serving room. And since it’s on wheels, you can move it around wherever it’s needed.
The cute penguin cookie jar, mugs, and plate {which is covered by the cookies!} were all from Walmart. I probably didn’t particularly need new mugs, but it was about $25 for the whole set so I couldn’t resist. Plus, I figure that the penguins can be used past Christmas and throughout the rest of the winter season. I tried to find the links for you online, but I could only find a few of the items on the Canadian site and none on the US site. They did have a fair bit of stock in store though, so hopefully you can find it in store if you’d like it. Here are the links I did find for you…
- Penguin cookie jar.
- Penguin plate. It looks like they are only available online in sets of 4 but you can purchase them individually in store.
- Penguin bowl. Again, you can only purchase in sets of 4 online but they can be purchased individually in store.
Movie Night Cart Printables
You definitely don’t need to add any printables to the cart, but, if you want to make it more decorative or will be using it for Christmas parties, they do add an extra festive touch.
I added my Rudolph Milk and Cookie Co. printable from my milk and cookie bar. It fit in perfectly! This North Pole Cookie Co. sign would also be a cute option.
The hot chocolate labels on the mason jar hot chocolate powder {tucked away in the back} can be found HERE. There are lots of other hot chocolate bar printables that could be used too depending on what you fill your cart with.
What to include in your movie night cart.
You can really put whatever you’d like in your Christmas movie night cart, but here are some ideas to get you started
- mugs for hot chocolate
- hot chocolate mix {packets or jar}
- peppermint tea
- milk or chocolate milk
- spoons
- hot chocolate toppings such as marshmallows, whipping cream, sprinkles, etc. {You can find tons of hot chocolate bar ideas HERE}
- popcorn. Use a festive bowl or cookie jar.
- Christmas cookies or other Christmas treats
- seasonal napkins
- candy canes
- Christmas candies or red licorice
- mandarin oranges
- seasonal plates

Best Christmas Movies
There is definitely no shortage of Christmas movies to watch throughout the holidays. From all of the cheesy Hallmark movies to the Christmas classics, I pretty much love them all. I know that picking the best Christmas movies is totally debatable but here’s my Top 11 {I just couldn’t get it down to 10!} Christmas movies and shows that we watch every year…
- The Santa Claus {The first one is definitely the best of the three}
- Elf
- The Polar Express
- A Christmas Story
- Miracle on 34th St. {I prefer the original but the 1994 remake is pretty good too.}
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas {I definitely prefer the original animated version over the remakes.}
- A Christmas Carol {I love the original but the Muppet version or Mickey’s Christmas Carol are cute for younger kids.}
- It’s a Wonderful Life
- Frosty the Snowman
- Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
- A Charlie Brown Christmas
Did I miss anything that you think should be included in the Top 10?
I hope this inspires you to plan a fun Christmas movie night and treat cart of your own. Or keep it in mind for any Christmas parties or holiday gatherings that you may have.
If you create something similar, I’d love to see what you put together! And always remember….
Enjoy the season!
