Easter Candy Bar
You can’t have Easter without chocolate and candies, right? I definitely have a sweet tooth and love all of the Easter treats! Not only are they delicious, but they can also add a pretty pop of color to your Easter decor {if they last!}. So, in honor of my love for Easter chocolates and candies, I decided to put together a fun little Easter candy bar on our dining room sideboard.
I found these faux Chocolate bunny containers at the dollar store and they kind of inspired the whole vignette. It’s nice to have some “chocolate” around that I know won’t be going anywhere. 😉 They look pretty realistic when they’re completely closed up. {I have this one cracked open a bit so you can see how it works.}
To display the chocolate, I used some of our Easter bunny containers and a couple of little bowls. Lidded mason jars or glass containers are another great option – especially if you have a bigger candy collection. This would be a fun idea for an Easter party or Easter dessert bar!
If you’ve been around here for a while, you know how much I love creating printables so, of course, I had to make a printable to go with it! I’m officially opening Cottontail Co. Chocolates and Confectioneries.
I played around with using a large oversized print and a smaller 5×7 print in the vignette and can’t really decide which option I like better. What do you think? Here’s the 11×14…
and here’s the 5×7…
Easter Chocolates
You can add whatever chocolates and candies you would like to your candy car. I just used my bunny collection and a few little bowls for storage but you can display candy in lidded mason jars or glass containers. You also don’t need to have a large space. A few mason jars on a tray with the small framed printable would be perfect on a kitchen counter or sofa table in your family room.
Here’s what we added…
- Mini Eggs and Eggies {because there’s always an ongoing debate which one is better!}
- chocolate bunny
- chocolate covered almonds
- Easter gummies
- these adorable Lindt chocolate carrots. You can find them on Amazon HERE, but I found them cheaper at our local grocery store.
I hope you have fun with this Easter candy bar idea. There are so many ways that you could put it together, so get creative! I’d love to see what you come up with.
