Pumpkin Chocolate Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies
I love chocolate, so it’s not really a surprise that I went with a dessert for my fall recipe. These pumpkin chocolate cream cheese swirl brownies are rich and fudgy with just a hint of that pumpkin flavor. I would say they’re a little denser than a typical brownie and oh so good!
Chocolate Pumpkin Cream Cheese Swirl Bars Recipe
Pumpkin Chocolate Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies
These delicious pumpkin chocolate cream cheese swirl bars are rich and fudgy with just a hint of that tasty pumpkin flavor. Slightly more dense than a traditional brownie, they're sure to be a fall favorite!
Ingredients
- 1 package fudge brownie mix
- 1 can pumpkin puree (15 oz)
- 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease or line a 9x13 baking pan.
-
Combine the brownie mix and the pumpkin puree in a large bowl until smooth. Spread 2 cups into the baking pan.
-
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, flour, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs and beat until low speed until just combined. Spread evenly over the brownie batter.
-
Top with the remaining brownie batter and use a knife to cut through the batter and swirl.
-
Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool completely.
These pumpkin brownies are super easy to make – even the kids can do them! Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and they’ll store well.
I hope you give them a try! I think I might have to go whip up another batch!
