Learn how to organize the laundry room for a quick and efficient laundry routine! Use these free printables, laundry room design ideas, and laundry room cleaning tips and tricks to get a laundry space that you love.
Hey guys! Sorry I’m late getting the June tasks up for this month’s Household Organization Diet. Life is really busy right now with work, kids, and home {pretty much everything!} so I’m doing what I can. We will hopefully be finishing up the last of our outdoor tasks from last month this week {fingers crossed!!} and then I’m moving on to organizing the laundry room. Thankfully, this is a pretty easy space to work on, so it shouldn’t take too long to get things done!
Laundry Room Cleaning and Organization Tasks
Here are the tasks that I’ll be tackling in our laundry room this month. You can print out the list as shown below or print out a blank one and customize your own to do list.

June Calendar
Print out the calendar below and schedule in some time to get your tasks done. It can be a small amount of time each day or two, a few hours on the weekends, or a full day devoted to just getting things done. Choose whatever works best for your personality and schedule.

I use this section, to write down little jobs or projects that I would like to do in the space as well as any particular items that I would like to buy {either for now or in the future}.
Laundry Room Design Ideas
If you’re looking for some laundry room design inspiration, I put together 20 of my favorite laundry room designs a while ago and still love them all. A pretty laundry room makes it so much easier to do laundry, don’t you think? You might not be able to have a large, fancy laundry room, but even a few small touches can make a big difference! You’ll find lots of different styles and sizes of laundry rooms and are sure to get a few ideas for your own space.
Of course, I’m continuously finding new inspiration, and I wanted to share a few of my most recent loves. This laundry room from Style at Home is pretty much my dream laundry room. I have the page from the magazine torn out too. 😉 I just love the tile, color, texture, storage solutions – everything!!
This laundry room from Jenna Sue Design is another favorite of mine. One picture really doesn’t do it justice – it’s gorgeous every where you look and I love both the barn door and frosted glass door.
One of my other dream laundry rooms is this beautiful coastal design from Home Bunch. I love the blue cabinets and tiled floor.
Even if you just have a closet for your laundry room {and ours isn’t much bigger!}, you can still create a beautiful and organized space like this one from Southern Living. And since it is a small space, it can generally be done fairly inexpensively!
And finally, my top laundry room pick, is this gorgeous, organized laundry room from Jillian Harris. I think I could live in here.
Now that you’re inspired and ready to get going, here are some laundry room cleaning and organization posts that you might find helpful…

First of all, these laundry rooms are all beautiful. I am motivated to work on mine which is a combo laundry room and pantry. And I wish we all didn’t have to worry about that front loader rim getting dirty. They can send a man to the moon……! Hopping over from Hearts for Home Blog Hop.

Great post! I just cleaned and reorganized my laundry room. Such a good feeling! I also just cleaned the lint out of my front loader. Didn’t have a lot, because they are fairly new. I have that same detergent tin. 🙂 Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Jann
