Hello my friends! I’m so excited to be joining in with some of my favorite bloggers {as well as Good Housekeeping!} to share our fall homes with you this week in the Eclectically Fall Home Tours.
If you are new to the tour, all of the fun starts over at Eclectically Vintage, so be sure to head over there so you don’t miss out on a post. For those of you that are joining me from the lovely House 214 Design – welcome!! I’m so glad to have you!
Fall is almost here and I have been having lots of fun getting the house decorated for the season. I love all of the beautiful fall colors and have been playing around with adding some red, orange, and yellow to our {usually!} more neutral home. I have a ton of photos for you, so I thought that I would actually divide the tour into two parts. Today we will be starting with our front porch, entryway and dining room and I will share the rest of our home next week. 🙂
I almost always start my holiday decorating with our front porch and I find that it kind of sets the tone for the rest of the house.
This year, I loaded up on some colorful Mums and then used more neutral white and blue pumpkins.
This combination of neutral pumpkins with pops of fall colors is echoed throughout the rest of the house.
I picked up this box from Home Goods and really wish that I had bought the other one that was there as well. I even went back for it, but it was just not meant to be.
The hanging baskets are just left over from my summer baskets from a couple of years ago. I usually fill them up with pumpkins {you can see last year’s front porch here} but decided to plant a couple of smaller Mums in there this year instead.
So come on inside!
I try to resist, but owls are always my downfall. You’ll probably see a number of them popping up throughout our home.
I made this little DIY wine crate a few years ago. I was going to put it away with our other summer decor but thought that it looked cute with a few baby boo pumpkins in it.
I found this print at Paper Source and I thought that the quote would be the perfect thing to read as we come and go each day.
Our owl umbrella stand had some pussy willow branches and a couple of faux stems added to it for a little extra color in the corner.
Coming through the front entry, you enter into our dining room.
Again, it is a mix of more neutral fall decor…
…with those lovely pops of fall colors.
I told you that you would see some owls again! 😉
I printed off the lovely fall watercolor printable from Place of My Taste. The colors worked perfectly in this space!
On the other end of the room I went more neutral with white pumpkins, wheat, and some cotton stems.
My terrarium is always one of my favorite things to change up for the seasons.
Last week I shared this free fall printable that you can print out for your own home.
And I also used it to dress up our boxwood wreath for the season.
For those of you that have been around here before, you know that I always like to create a little seasonal beverage bar {you can see some past ones here, here, and here}.
This year I went with a mulled apple cider. Sooo good and it tastes just like fall!
Thank-you so much for joining me on our fall home tour. I hope that you enjoyed a little peek into our home! I would love for you to come by again next week for our fall kitchen and living room tour. {UPDATE: You can find part 2 of the tour HERE}. Here’s a little sneak peek that you may have seen on Instagram….
Once again, don’t forget to head over to Eclectically Vintage to see the rest of the beautiful fall home tours and check out Good Housekeeping for even more fall inspiration!

Love the tiered tray on the table and the wood slices you’ve used to lift some of your plates/etc. Everything looks so calm and serene – just like fall should be. I love owls, too, and that umbrella stand is to die for!

OMG You’re my OWL hero! I love this. I was just saying checking out another fall decor and I wish I had the time or the interest to change my decor for the seasons. Nicely done!
Jenn Lifford says
Lol! Yes, I love my owls!! I always like changing out the decor but it doesn’t have to be anything drastic – even just a few pumpkins and some berry or leaf stems adds that fall touch!

I love the wall color in your front entry hallway. I apologize if it’s posted somewhere else on your site, but could you share what color that is painted?
Jenn Lifford says
It’s Old Soul by Benjamin Moore. 🙂 It looks a little more beige in some light and then a little more grey in others.
