The cooler weather is starting to hit and I love snuggling up with a warm drink and a cozy blanket at night while I am reading a book or watching television. It always seems like such a luxury to have some time to myself! If you are like me you will love this slow cooker spiced cranberry apple hot punch. It’s perfect for parties or just those quiet evenings with your book!
This lightly spiced hot punch reminds me of the holidays and is a tasty blend of sweet and tart – my favorite fall drink. It is made in the slow cooker so you if you are having a party, just leave it on warm so your guests can have a hot drink whenever they choose!
- 4 cups cranberry juice
- 4 cups unsweetened apple juice
- 2 cups brewed tea {I used a cranberry herbal tea but a black tea would work too}
- ½ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup lemon juice
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 12 whole cloves
- In a 4 quart slow cooker {or larger}, add the cranberry juice, apple juice, tea, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir.
- Tie up the cinnamon sticks and cloves in a double thickness cheesecloth and add to the slow cooker. NOTE: If you do not have cheesecloth, you can add these ingredients directly and strain once heated.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Discard spices. Serve warm.
I hope you enjoy! Have a wonderful weekend my friends!

I do something similar for Halloween when it’s chilly outside and everyone wants to warm up a bit. Must try this cranberry version. Happy Thanksgiving!

I got them from Superstore {It’s a grocery store in Canada if you are not from here!} They were a great deal!
