Hey guys! I’m back today with another version of my hot cocoa bar – this time it is all dressed up for Valentine’s Day! Now who couldn’t use a good cup of Valentine’s Day hot chocolate?
I was at Pier One the other day and came across these 2 Love mugs.
They are just one of those mugs that feel good when you hold them in your hands. They ended up jumping into my basket and I knew that they would be perfect for my hot chocolate bar!
I bought some Hershey’s kisses and cinnamon hearts for the jars to add that special Valentine’s Day touch. I’m not usually a big fan of the cinnamon hearts but I actually love the light cinnamon taste that they add to the hot chocolate.
And, of course, you still need the marshmallows. 🙂
I am thinking that those kisses will probably need a couple of re-fills between now and Valentine’s Day. You need at least a few kisses per day, right?
I have also been busy putting out the rest of our Valentine’s Day decor. As a Mom of two boys, I don’t get to decorate with anything pink very often, so Valentine’s Day decorating is always fun for me. Hopefully the sun will be out again tomorrow and I can snap a few pictures for you.

Have a wonderful week!
I shared this post at Savvy Southern Style, Under the Table and Dreaming, Lil Luna, Thirty Handmade Days, Liz Marie Blog, Design Dining and Diapers, Tidy Mom, Uncommon and I Should be Mopping the Floor.
What a cute idea! I’m going to do this for the kiddos when they get home from school on V-day. Or whichever weekday is closest:)
Valentine’s Day is on a Friday this year so that would be a great way to end the week and start the weekend! Enjoy!
I just love your hot chocolate bar and how you change it up for the seasons. The “LOVE” mugs are perfect! I’m adding this to my Pinterest Valentine’s Day board.
Thanks Lori!
This is SO SUPER CUTE!!! We JUST made valentine’s heart mugs yesterday!! I may have to set up a cocoa bar!!
Thanks Janae! It would be perfect with some handmade mugs! I was going to make some for mine too but decided I would take the lazy route when I found those love mugs! 🙂
This is adorable! My son would totally climb up onto the counter and eat all the marshmallows though haha
I especially love the lemonade bar idea, and I’m going to pin it! We’re having a small wedding next September, and I want a lemonade bar so so badly. Thanks for the inspiration

lol! I don’t usually leave the marshmallows out for that reason too! 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful wedding – the lemonade bar would be a fun touch!
I love this Jenn – so adorable. My boys would be super excited about it…and it is such a fun touch for around Valentine’s Day. Happy weekend!!
Such a cute idea1 This would be fun for the kids on Valentines Day or for the class party. I especially like how it works for any occasion or holiday.
Thanks! I have lots of fun changing it up!
Hey Jenn! I always love seeing what you do with your hot cocoa bar for each holiday/season! You are so creative. The Valentine’s Day version is adorable! Love those mugs!
I love this idea. Would be great at the teacher lunch table. Could you please tell me where to purchase those cute little bottles?
Thanks, Evelyn
What a fun idea! I purchased mine at Decor Steals but they can also be found here: http://www.farmhousedecorshop.com/3-milk-bottle-wire-tote/
I’ve got to set one of these up for my kids! They love hot chocolate!
You can’t go wrong with hot chocolate!
So much cuteness!!
So cute! I love that crate/carrier for the jars – adorable!!
So fun! I have the love mug and LOVE it. It makes me so happy when I drink out of it:)
I know! It’s one of those mugs that just fit perfectly in your hand! I think it will have to stick around after Valentine’s Day!
Where did you find the metal basket holding the three glass bottles?
I got them from Decor Steals which is a daily deal site. If you google wire crate with mason jars there are some other similar products that come up. 🙂
Ok thanks
Love your ideas for the jars and holder for all different occasions. I want to do one for my daughter’s birthday. My questions is about the tags as I have never made them. I understand you can download the design but do you back them with something as yours look quite solid. (Sorry I’m a bit new to this.)
If you want to use my labels, just print them out, cut them out into a circle and back onto scrapbook paper in whatever color/design you would like! If you have circle punches, it is super quick. Otherwise, just find a circular shape to trace over it and cut out. Hope your daughter has a wonderful birthday!
Thanks so much for replying so quickly. I did notice that the only labels I can see when I go the link are the Christmas ones. The others all have an error code. I will definitely use the scrapbooking paper. Thanks again!
