Apple Cider Bar
Apple Cider Recipe
I love a nice, hot mug of apple cider. It always reminds me of our trips to the pumpkin patch and is the perfect way to enjoy those beautiful fall days. There’s nothing quite like fresh apple cider, but this easy apple cider recipe is pretty close!
Easy Apple Cider Recipe
This easy apple cider recipe is perfect for a cool fall day or holiday gathering. Serve it up for a crowd for Halloween or Thanksgiving.
Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup apple juice
- 5 tbsp apple cider powder {you can buy this in bulk or in individual packets like you do for hot chocolate}
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- a handful of dried apples
Instructions
-
Place all ingredients into a pot and heat over medium-low heat until warm. Simmer longer for a stronger cinnamon flavor.
-
Pour into a mug and serve with the dried apples and cinnamon sticks. For an added touch, you can slice up an apple and use a small cookie cutter to cut out the core. It's a cute way to top off your mug and the apple tastes really yummy after its been soaking!
