I am always so happy when those first signs of spring start appearing. I am not a big fan of the cold weather and the arrival of spring means that summer is just around the corner! I love watching the days get longer, the spring buds starting to bloom, and seeing the beauty of spring come alive. And, of course, you can’t forget the tulips!
Tulips are one of my favorite flowers and always remind me of the start of spring. While I do love all of the colors, nothing beats the happiness of yellow! I picked up a couple of bouquets when I was down at the grocery store today and thought that a little spring tablescape celebration was in order!
I ended up shopping around the house for most of the items although I do have a few new things to show you as well. For the centerpiece, I used a wooden tray that I typically store my magazines in, added a couple of my DIY blue mason jars, and some yellow tulips {my very favorite flower!}. I also placed a water jug and the salad utensils on the tray as well.
I created some easy DIY twine and chalkboard napkin holders to serve as both the napkin holders as well as the place cards.
At the end of the table, I did a Spring makeover on my book page wreath that hangs over our sideboard and added a chalkboard center to it that can be changed out over the seasons.
