Welcome back to our Trim the Tree Party!!
I love handmade Christmas ornaments and think that they add such a special touch to the tree and other holiday decor. This week, I have invited some of my favorite blogging friends to join me in sharing one of their favorite handmade ornaments. At the end of the week we will have a special giveaway for you that you don’t want to miss, so don’t forget to check back! There will be three new ornaments each day, so you should have a beautifully decorated tree by the end of the week! 😉

It’s the Christmas season and that means one thing in my house. Glitter! Hi everyone … I’m Jennifer from Town and Country Living. This is my first time participating in Jennifer’s Trim the Tree event and I’m happy and honored to be here! I made some DIY glitter snowflake ornaments that are super easy to create!
Glitter snowflake ornaments add a bit of bling to Christmas decor.
Hang them individually on your tree, or make a garland to wrap around it.
They started out as plain wooden snowflakes from the craft store.
I think I paid $5 for a set of 8 snowflakes.
I painted half of them light gray, and half of them off white.
I used chalk paint so they’d dry really fast. I’m an impatient crafter.
After the paint dried, I brushed on Mod Podge.
Working quickly, I sprinkled on two types of glitter.
Aren’t they pretty and sparkly? Glue a ribbon on each to hang from the tree.
Or keep them clipped to a sparkly ribbon and drape around the tree like garland.
I love my new DIY glitter snowflake ornaments.
I’m going to hang them on my smaller Christmas tree!
