Last month was an extremely crazy month for me so I had to put The Household Organization Diet on hold. But, this month, I am back {albeit very late!} and we will be talking about master bedroom organization and cleaning. Fall is the perfect time to get things cozied up and organized for the fall and winter months ahead. I hope you will join in with me!
I know we are a late getting started this month, but you can carry on with some of the tasks next month as well if needed. I will be doing a special Getting Organized for the Holidays series for the Organization Diet in November so it should definitely be do-able to double up! Here are my tasks for the month…

And if you like to keep track of everything in more of a calendar format like I do, you can grab the October calendar HERE or a blank one HERE. {You can check out my cleaning binder to see how I organize everything}
To help get you started, I have put together some of my previous master bedroom cleaning and organization posts for you to follow.

Get organized for the holidays? Count me in! I’m hoping that I can have at least one holiday function at my house this year!
And for this month, light fixtures, windows and blinds are definitely things I need to be doing!

My master bedroom closet could really use some help some I’m loving those tips! I spent some time over the weekend cleaning out our armoire and it felt so good to get that done. Love this series!

My master bedroom is a huge mess! I need to print out your tips and start marking things off my to-do list.

It is nice to have a clean master bedroom at the end of the day to relax in! 🙂

Such inspiration to get in there and do it. My closet is neat, but full of things I never wear. I get emotionally attached to clothes!? lol Thanks for these awesome tips Jenn! XO

I totally get emotional attached to my clothes too!! Or I feel guilty because I spent so much money on something and never really wore it. 🙂

You make the prettiest printables! Great tips, thank you!

I desperately need this checklist, especially since people will be staying over during the holidays and will need to go through our master bedroom to get to the guest room we created. The master bedroom is really a mess and the first thing we need to do is organize our closet. Thanks for giving me some inspiration and direction.

I so needed this post. Thank you very much. My closet in my condo is spacious but the former owner put in this completely inaccessible wire rack at the very top. Time to dive in and remove it and start over.

We had those in our closet originally too – until they collapsed! 😉
