You can’t have a camping trip without s’mores, right? This is definitely a staple of camping life especially if you have little ones and we never go camping without our stash! For some fun variations, try these quick and easy s’mores recipes!
It’s always fun to mix up your cookie and chocolate choices and you could even throw a little fruit slices in there as well {bananas taste great!} I think the Reese’s Peanut Butter cups are my favorite but we always have some plain old chocolate around too. A Tupperware container is great for holding all of your supplies and it is nice to easily be able to seal it up from the bugs as well.
Rolo’s are another favorite of mine. Just roast your marshmallow for a bit, stick the chocolate in, and roast a bit more.
And for those of you that still want the taste of s’mores without the fire, try these cute little reverse s’mores bites. Just slice a marshmallow in half length-wise and add some Nutella and crushed graham crackers.
These would be cute for parties and can be placed in the microwave for approximately 5-10 seconds or in a broiler to heat them up a bit.
And if you are heading out camping, you can prepare these ahead of time, place them in a Tupperware container and store them in your cooler. These can still be roasted over a fire {although not for too long or your chocolate will melt!} but taste good on their own too. And if there happens to be a fire ban going on, you can still enjoy your camping s’mores!

I have what is probably a silly question: for the reverse s’mores bites, do you slice the marshmallow before you toast it?

I love this idea! You guys make yummy s’mores! We always do the traditional graham cracker, marshmallow, hershey’s chocolate. We might have to bring along something more fun for next time we go camping!
